Used once, cleaned jewelry just fine, similar results to other much less expensive ultrasonic cleaners I've had in the past. However, the ultrasonic action loosened several stones in two pieces, which I will have to get repaired. I was lucky to be able to find the stones before I tossed the cleaning solution. I expect that the repair will cost more than the cleaner did.
