I bought this after receiving my unique tanzanite and alexandrite engagement ring. I was thrilled that it was easy to use, but was disappointed by the cleaning results. I had heard by jewelers that Ionic cleaners were the best way to clean, but I didn't have fantastic results. The cleaning is very gentle on stones, but the bottom of the ring became cloudy from dirt which was untouched by the machine.
