NOPE, it won't hold small hoops, but it will give you room for your danglies and chandaliers and regular question-mark wires, and if they fall, they're still safe. Plus, keeps the dust and yuck off. Much, Much better than the fold out kind that makes your earrings go every where when you unfold it. I have cats and this keeps the earrings safe from becoming "prey" but also easily accessible early in the morning when I am under-caffeinated and clumsy.
