When I first ordered the product I wasn't sure what to expect. When they notified me through mail and e-mail that it was going to take a little longer to ship I appreciated the advanced notice, but still a bit sceptical. When the armoire arrived it exceeded ALL of my expectations; blew them away.
A lot of attention was given to the piece. Before finalizing on this armoire, I did some research. Reviews for similar products suggested that they were not crafted very well. I have personally seen a similar product in another store, but it wasn't nearly as nice as my new armoire.
The unit is heavy but solid. It will take at least two people to mount to the wall. The piece comes with four screws, drywall anchors and a paper template for mounting (it would have been helpful if the template had a marker indicating "this side up"). The kit also comes with washers to protect the interior from the screws. Another nifty feature are the polished caps that gently screw over the washers to conceal the screw heads (unlike simple plastic push-overs).
The dark Cherry finish is smooth inside and out (no rough edges anywhere). The Microfiber interior has the look and feel of brushed suede with not a single loose thread. The LED lighting mechanism is highly effective and unobtrusive. The design looks very sharp.
